How It Works
The XY-MOS acts as an electronic power switch between the DC power supply and the load. A low-power control signal from a microcontroller or PLC controls the MOSFET, allowing the connected load to be switched ON/OFF.
When a PWM signal is applied, the module can also regulate the effective power delivered to compatible loads, allowing applications such as DC motor speed control and LED brightness adjustment.
Important Note
The 15A and 400W ratings should not be treated as universal maximums under every operating condition. Higher-current operation requires suitable cooling, and actual limits depend on voltage, load type, wiring, and thermal conditions.
For inductive loads such as motors, pumps, and solenoid valves, an appropriate flyback/protection diode should be used to protect the switching circuit from voltage spikes.
